^i agree, i work almost every show in town and know most photographers by name, only one's i know are Marco and Mark both great guy's, but you guys missed like at least 5 of the main Houston photographers, Rockstar Photographer Tré Ridings, Capt. Flash Hal Lynde, (Eric) Groove House, Steve Boriack, Jim Bricker, Steve O Shoots, Paul Delacerda and like 3 other's, Come on HPRO!
perhaps the word 'corporate' should have been used somewhere after 'Best
You guys are obsessed with ranking things
Hell yeah Trish Badger!!!
Congrats to some great talent. You all give me something to strive for as an up and coming concert photographer.
Eric Kayne needs to be on this list, real talk
Get it Trish Badger!
Russell Hancock is on the come up too.
you would have been great for this, sir!
Dang! I wish I would have known about this! Oh well, it would have been cool to be on this list!
Ive been playing shows in Houston since 1998 and photographing them since 2005. I dont ever remember meeting someone named Nue Wayv, but my name is Todd. Next time you see me at a show introduce yourself if we haven't met already. Also when I submitted to this contest I saw that it said HOUSTONS BEST MUSIC PHOTOGRAPHER and not HOUSTONS BEST LIVE MUSIC PHOTOGRAPHER, therefore in addition to live images, I included artist portraits in the studio and out, behind the scenes images from music videos, documentary stills from off the stage and lots more. There is more to "music photography" than pointing your lens at a mic stand. http://toddspoth.com
a few that you listed also chose not to participate.
To be involved in this, each person had to enter themselves. It wasn't "Houston Press hand-picks the best out of thin air".
