Summerfest has a better lineup.

This Fest Used 2 B $100.....Am Sick Of The Higher Prices And Recycled Bands..Have To Use Fingers & Toes To count All The Times Muse & Kol Have played......And They Must Have Confused This LineUp With The One Meant For 1986.......Blah, yawn....They Can Party All Night Long W/O Me..

I've reluctantly gone the last few years because my wife wanted to. Expanding this to two weekends and tossing out this lineup seems like it's literally a slap in the face to the ticket buyers. I've seen some great shows at ACL, especially more than a few years ago, but it's almost like it's trying to become irrelevant.

How lame!  And I am an 80s child who grew up on that junk!

The schedule doesn't come out usually until a few weeks before the fest, but they did say the main headliners and most of the mid level acts will play both weekends.

I bought week 1 on the blind pre-sale. Cure, Mode, Queens, Atoms for Peace definitely make up for the redundancy of Passion Pit, Muse, Vampire Wknd etc.

makes me want to go! after 3 years in a row of going to ACL fest, this was supposed to be our year off- but how can we miss that lineup!?

I've seen more and more teenagers at ACL the past several years. I can imagine they're not too pleased with the headliners. Those of us who were around in the 80s don't mind it as much.

My girlfriend and I will be going. I would have never believed I'd see the cure and depeche mode on the same lineup!

hope i get tickets. unlike being disappointed with lolla after being denied a 4th straight year. never been to Texas.

I'm just hoping that Tame Impala plays a Houston show when they come to Texas.

•Yawn• I'm more intrigued by the artists on down the bill than I am most of the headliners. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see several of the big names, but the list seems very disjointed and I'm not enthusiastic about it as a whole. I hope some of those so-called "minor" acts will make a stop through H-town on their way to or fro the ATX.

Whoever suggested Lionel Richie mujst have been smoking some weird stuff... Dafuq?

With some of these names on the list, I feel like I stepped onto a time machine headed for 1985.

if you would have told me at any point in my life i'd be seeing the cure and depeche mode in the same weekend, i'd have slapped you in the face for lying to, i would apologize.
