Houston's 10 Sweetest 420 Shows and Festivals
I'm not going to launch into some long diatribe as an opening to this blog; there's no need. All that needs to be said can be summed up in one word -- weed.

That's right. This is a blog about all the sweet 420 festivals and events around Houston to help you declare your love for the mean green holiday. So if you're lookin' for a way to celebrate all things cannabis, look no further.
The answers to all of your stoner inquiries are available below. Here's a list of how and where to celebrate the herbal awesomeness of 420 in Houston.
Curren$y's 4/20 Weekend Tour
For those of you that would like to start the toking party off a little bit early, Warehouse Live is hosting Curren$y on 4/19, the day prior to the start of the big celebrations.
Curren$y will be performing at Warehouse Live for the first time since dropping his 2012 album, Stoned Immaculate, which is quite an appropriate album title for a guy on a 420 tour, I suppose.
Warehouse Live, 813 St. Emanuel, 9 p.m. Friday, April 19
Punkstar Industries and Smoke Alley Present 420 Fest
Not only will there be music from folks like Second Hand, JFK Suicide, D.R.U.M., and Brothers Grymm, but there'll also be glass blowing demos (!) and a raffle. Unfortunately I didn't see anywhere on the flier that says there'll be food trucks. Sorry, Charlies. Better bring your own hot Cheetos.
Smoke Alley, 4602 Dacoma, 2-10 p.m.
420: The One Love Art Exhibition and Market
War'Hous and Sonya Gracia have teamed up to bring you the One Love Art Exibition and Market at War'Hous Studios, an art show and market devoted to all things 420.
Dubbed a festival for reggae lovers, hippies, and plant devotees and smokers, the festival features music from folks like Ceeplus Bad Knives, Damon Allen, DJ Nattyvo, along with a bunch of vendors and artists. Oh, and Dash Vodka is one of the sponsors, if you're not an herbal enthusiast, of course.
War'Hous Visual Studios, 4715 Main, 4:20 p.m.
