Pro-Gay Marriage Willie Nelson Returns With A New Album April 16
As Willie Nelson inches towards 80 years of age on April 29, his schedule doesn't seem to winding down one bit. He tours at an astounding clip, and it seems like he was in the Houston-area at least four times in the past year. In fact, we reviewed his latest Arena Theatre gig here on Rocks Off earlier this month.

Today Nelson's people announced his next album, Let's Face The Music And Dance, will be released on April 16 on Legacy Recordings. The title track is a cover of an Irving Berlin classic. You can hear it right here on the Rolling Stone site.
This week Nelson also told Texas Monthly that he has steadfastly for gay marriage in the United States, telling TM's Andy Langer "I've known straight and gay people all my life. I can't tell the difference. People are people where I came from."
Nelson's last album, Heroes, was released in April 2012 and featured Nelson covering Coldplay, Eddie Vedder, and Tom Waits. He pretty much made Coldplay's "The Scientist" his proverbial bitch, and collaboration with Snoop Dogg was one for the stoned ages.
Nelson is also Legacy's Artist of the Month in April, which means there will be plenty of interviews and retrospectives rolling around the Internet on Nelson for the next few weeks.
Here's the Let's Face The Music And Dance tracklisting. Check out Django Reinhardt's "Vous Et Moi" and Carl Perkins' "Matchbox" on there.
