This is also why you are encouraged to have thick skin if you wanna compete in the industry. The more times you throw the hat in the ring, the better your chances are. Statistics. Numbers. Luck. Only thing is, you gotta have these Bruno skills to even be able to throw said hat in....

I read the article. My assessment. Just going to auditions like The Voice, or winning singing contests all over town, it quickly becomes evident that there is an overabundance of people that are THAT GOOD. They sing like a lark, effortlessly. The have dance moves that would make a modern dance studio envious. Sometimes, most of the time, they have the looks. The have the personality and the humility. People like Bruno are not everywhere, but close.... for they are to be found in higher numbers than you may think. Like the article indicated, fame and all it's trappings has very little to do with ability these days. The same can be said for those who HAVE those abilities though. It has little to do with abilities, or these "whole" packages. This is an entire subculture and there are millions in this world, on that level, right now. It's all about timing and luck. Sure these darlings are amazing in moms' eyes, but in the public sector, as skillfully unique as you may be or are, you are not that unique. Outside of that, it's nice to see someone with REAL chops take the gold over the Fergies, LMFAOs, and autotune superstars.

Beyonce is bigger.

I brought my 12 year old daughter and 2 of her friends. I was not expecting such an awesome show! The kid can sing, dance, had his homeys on horns and seemed truly humbled by the crowd. I am now a convert!

Yup I was there! Yup he's a megastar! It was Texans game loud in that place!!

Pretty sure George Strait will end up smashing it anyway.

He put on a GREAT show! That man can sing, dance AND play music. Color me impressed.

To be fair, Astrodome capacity at the time of Elvis' 1970 RODEOHOUSTON show was just 44,500, but when you adjust people's fat asses for inflation....
