Rocks Off has been sponsoring Cactus Music in-store performances for some time. This weekend we have two acts we are proud to be bringing to you in conjunction with Quinn and his band of merry Cactus employees.

This afternoon at 5:30 p.m., we present Kansas City blues-rock act and International Blues Challenge winners Trampled Under Foot and on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m., local boy Chase Hamblin and his Roustabouts will be playing cuts from his upcoming VAUdeVILLE release.

In addition to these two in-stores, Cactus Music is also touting a Tame Impala meet-and-greet, set for Monday afternoon at 3 p.m. at the record store before the band's sold-out Fitzgerald's show.

No, Tame Impala will not be performing at Cactus. You'll just have wait until they come back to town. I am sure they will be through again in the fall, with their Lonerism doing so well.

Cactus customers who purchase a copy of either two of Tame Impala's releases on either LP or CD at the store will receive priority placement in the line. The band will sign for the remaining attendees if time allows.

Trampled Under Foot is made up of three siblings Danielle, Kris and Nick Schnebelen. Their new album, Wrong Side of the Blues, was produced by Tony Braunagel. Their parents, Bob and Lisa, are learned musicians in their own right and are featured on the album.
