Black Sabbath Teases New Album With YouTube Clip

Yesterday Black Sabbath released a three-minute YouTube clip for their new upcoming album, 13, which is due to hit the streets in June.

Producer Rick Rubin is behind the boards and Rage Against the Machine's Brad Wilk is on drums, as Bill Ward is still involved in a contract dispute with his estranged Sabbath mates.

13 will be the first Sabbath LP featuring singer Ozzy Osbourne in 35 years, and the title is meant to poke fun at the albums that the band released sans Ozzy. (It's actually the band's 19th full-length.)

Longtime fans are still wary of new Sabbath material, especially with Ward out of the picture -- not to mention their ages, as all are hovering near 65.

In my mind the Sabbath sound is timeless, and what matters is that Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler are together again. Yes, Ward is part of that dark magical glue that made those iconic albums stick, but Wilk isn't exactly a new hand at this.

Here is hoping that Sabbath comes around Texas way in 2013.

It's gonna be crap. This is a Sharon Osbourne cash grab-

I am but at the same time I think it should have been done right with Ward behind the drums. I just hope Ozzy's voice sounds better and less processed than it has his past couple of albums.
