Together, they make arguably the greatest rappers the city has ever produced (Bun's a literal Gulf Coast Hall of Famer now, so there's that). Face dishes on his love for everything going in Houston in a 20-second clip before highlights of his September show at Warehouse Live that was a complete zoo.
Bun is just Bun here, an authoritative curator who can easily separate what makes Houston the city that it is musically, and how the stereotypes that get dropped on us aren't too far off from reality. They exist, yes, but they're only a small facet of what Houston truly is.
4. ROB GOT DAMN QUEST
This needed to be in all caps for one sole reason: Odd Squad. Even as underrated a city as Houston is, you barely hear mention of how influential the early Rap-a-Lot group was. Good job, Noisey. You do Nardwuar work in terms of trying to cover damn near everything.
