Few artists in 2012 can play two concerts in one night, and sell out the first one. Based on strong street cred and the critically adored album good kid, m.A.A.d city rapper Kendrick Lamar has done it in Houston.

The artist has already sold out his December 29 Warehouse Live gig, and he has now added a second show at the House of Blues a few blocks away on the same night.

The promoters of Lamar's Houston double-header, Scoremore, announced that tickets for the second as-of-yet not sold-out HOB gig will go on sale this Wednesday on their ticketing site.

Details on tickets for the HOB show are right here.

The Compton, California-bred Lamar is getting high marks from everyone from Time, SPIN, The Guardian and Rolling Stone for his m.A.A.d city, which currently holds a 91/100 score on Metacritic.

Needless to say, expect Lamar to be playing much larger venues next time he comes to the Bayou City if his star keeps rising. Which it probably will.

I'm not working either show, to close to my Vegas trip to deal with all that bullshit, you have fun with the super great crowd that will follow all the rules and the Artist's friends and wanna be rappers being a pain in the ass, as at all but 5% of rap shows, best rap shows i have worked and only real organized ones are always Bun B., Wu-Tang, Snoop, Schoolboy Q and ICP and any of there posse or label mates, after that Rap shows are not fun and very, very unorganized if your working them.

Given the preferred working hours of rappers, I assume the HOB set will start sometime around 4 a.m.?

Are the warehouse live (original) purchasers about to get screwed by this? How does this work, curfew-wise?
