The 10 Most Overplayed Songs at Mexican Weddings, Texas Edition

1. "Tragos Amargos"

At the end of the night, when the lights are turned on and everyone is looking for a designated driver, this is the song that is played. A song of heartbreak and heartache, this gets you right in the feels. Perfect ending to a fun night.

Special thanks to DJ Rob Mix of the Latino Soundz DJs for his insight on this topic. Contact him at 832-890-4262 if you need a DJ for your wedding, Mexican or otherwise.

@MisterArreola @GustavoArellano it was actually on the list, but I had to cut it.

No matter how many times I hear it, Tragos is timeless. Went to a good ol double wedding, yes, double wedding down in Refugio, Tx. this past weekend and or course it ended the night-- twice. The most random place I've ever heard it played was at the Roxy which also ended the night, circa 01 I believe. Everyone knows it, everyone sings it and everyone goes home happy. Classic. Fa sho.

@GustavoArellano don't forget to forward the list to your UH peeps. They were interested about my choices.
