New Music From Scarface, Nas, Trae, Kirko Bangz, Bun B, Slim Thug, Paul Wall, Z-Ro... In 2 Songs

Let's not dance around this too much. Two songs came out Thursday that you need to hear.

The first inexplicably comes via DJ Khaled, rap DJ/producer/screamer/barterer. His new album(!?) comes out this August, which respectable Houstonians will be strong-armed into purchasing because it includes guest features from it's newest star, Kirko Bangz, and one of its most legendary, Scarface.

Do not undervalue how substantial it is that Kirko landed on this. In doing so, he also stands alongside Nas, Wayne, Ross and more. Tough tamales, bro.

The Scarface song, that's one of the one's we're all hear about. It hit sites towards the end of the business day Thursday and, besides just being new Scarface, it also features a verse from Nas, production from J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League and cuts by DJ Premier. There just aren't enough exclamation points, I'm saying.

The second song comes via everyone's favorite indestructible human, Trae tha Truth. It's a posse track called "Bitch, I'm From Texas" and includes work from Kirko Bangz (he's staying busy, obvs), Slim Thug, Paul Wall, Z-Ro and Bun B. It's the first proper song he's released since the much-discussed shooting that occurred earlier this summer.

When we happened across him covering a recent event, he remarked that his new album, the first he'll release under Grammy winner T.I.'s wing, is like nothing else he's ever recorded, specifically citing that he's shield his swordswipe raspy voice he's wielded these last few years and swapped it out for something a tad more full-mouthed.

His effort here would seem to indicate he wasn't lying.
