This morning Austin's Fun Fun Fun Fest, the best music festival in Texas that isn't Free Press Summer Fest, announced their full 2012 lineup after months of teasing us and leaking a handful of names at a time -- and then hip-hop legends Run-D.M.C Tuesday morning.

Scheduled for November 2-4 at Auditorium Shores, FFFF had already announced Atlas Sound, Baroness, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Starfucker, Rakim, Lagwagon, The Head and The Heart, Danny Brown, David Cross, Bob Mould, Tomahawk and Against Me! as FFFF acts.

how is this headline sleeping at night, knowing that it included asap rocky and santigold (i'm fans of both) over REFUSED, who is playing one of their glorious reunion shows a mere 200 miles from here?


I was thinking the something similar. Also, how come "modern rock" radio is completely ignoring so many popular rock acts that are playing the major festivals? FPSF FFFF Warped Tour and ACL. I can't believe it's money or marketing, many of these groups are signed and selling plenty of records. I also don't buy the argument that radio is slow to adapt to current trends because hip hop and pop radio update their playlists weekly. But yet, modern rock stations can routinely be heard playing music from 15-20 years ago, with the bulk of their playlist comprised of artists popular 7 or 8 years ago.
