After raising ticket prices Monday night, Free Press Summer Fest announced more headliners Thursday morning.

What are you getting for that extra dough? How about Pretty Lights, Erykah Badu, Fitz & the Tantrums, Phantogram, R3hab, David Garza?

Respectively, that's one Colorado EDM space cadet, one Dallas old-skool gangsta-diva, one slick L.A. neo-soul combo, one upstate New York psych-pop duo, one Dutch DJ and house-music producer and one of Texas's most eclectic, gifted musicians. Sound good?

The lineup for FPSF, scheduled for June 2 and 3 in Eleanor Tinsley Park on Buffalo Bayou, already includes the Avett Brothers, Flaming Lips (performing Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon), Afrojack, Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg (probably together), the Descendents, Primus, Major Lazer, Young the Giant, Z-Ro, Portugal. The Man, Two Door Cinema Club and many more.

Oh, and FPSF also announced three dozen local artists who will be playing. As if we could forget them:

Always good to see Rusted Shut on there. It wouldn't be Summer Fest without them. Current ticket prices are $75 for a general-admission two-day pass and $115 for a Fancy Pants pass, which gets you access to an air-conditioned tent.

Passes are available online and many places around town that sell music, skateboarding accessories, bongs and anything that looks gnarly under black light. Afterparties and the FPSF schedule should be announced soon.

Under the local bands list it should read:

Clockpole (performing Flaming Lips' 'God Walks Among Us Now: Jesus Song No.6')

Since Flaming Lips aren't playing their songs, I figure someone should.

Badu is worth the ticket price- me and wife went in 2010 when she came to Verizon and the show was incredible to say the least. What amazes me is there is almost 0 vocal depreciation from cd to live performance.

That being said I'm looking forward to dragging my ass out the house for these two days. Should be good.

Literally cannot wait to see thousands of hipsters sing along to "Tyrone" this year.

Take a listen to her in Outkast's Mumble Jumble.  Freaking OUTSTANDING!

I saw her in Austin not too long ago and I agree, her voice is as good live as it is on cd.

Drinking hot Falstaff, dragging around their dirty sacks, all looking like they need a nap.
