So this past week I was in Las Vegas for a friend's bachelor party. Standard dude stuff: Plenty of gambling, embittered ATM withdrawals, inordinate amounts of cursing, and the ever-present din of LMFAO at most every turn.

I think at one point I heard their "Sexy And I Know It" in the restroom of the house we rented, from out of nowhere. Or maybe it was a mild seizure. Or maybe I was really at a strip club. Or maybe I should stop typing.

LMFAO is headlining the Toyota Center on June 12 with special guests Far East Movement, The Quest Crew, Sidney Samson, Eva Simons and Natalia Kills. You may remember Far East Movement from their club hit "Like A G6" last year, the one you heard on way too many YouTube clips and coming from the neighbor kid's POS car.

The "Sorry For Party Rocking Tour" marks LMFAO's upteenth Houston appearance since 2008 by our count. I think I loaded one of their Rich's shows up back when I was the music listings editor at the Houston Press in late 2008.

The duo's ubiquitous smash "Party Rock Anthem" is our new national anthem for all intents and purposes, which I am sort of cool with. It's like a jaunty tune coming from the steerage section of Titanic.

There really are two Americas. The one that guys like Barack Obama, Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum are fighting for, and the other one that LMFAO's RedFoo and SkyBlue are drowning in chilled vodka shots while Miley Cyrus gets her nipples pierced in the corner and hamsters in velour tracksuits dance next to compact SUVs, all while grown men debate the use of birth control.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 3, at the usual outlets: livenation.com, toyotacentertix.com, "most" Houston-area Randall's stores and 1-866-4HOUTIX (446-8849).

Beginning on Thursday, LMFAO fans that visit www.livenation.com/lmfao and RSVP to the presale will have early access to tickets. Exciting.
