Ten Songs We Want to See Mike Tyson Cover Besides "Girl from Ipanema"

Former heavyweight champ Mike Tyson has been everywhere over the last few years, trying to re-invent himself and rehabilitate his image. From his impersonation of Herman Cain on Funny or Die to his hilarious turn in The Hangover, Tyson has been doing a pretty good job of making people laugh.

But, apparently, Iron Mike isn't satisfied with the little bit of singing he did in The Hangover II. He appeared on a song and in a video with Russian dance group RU and then there was this:

Tyson singing "Girl from Ipanema" on Brazilian TV was not only funny, but surprisingly... decent! Shockingly so. It got us to thinking what other songs we'd like to see Tyson cover in his burgeoning new career.

10. "Baby" - Justin Bieber

More than anything else, we want to see the look on Ludacris' face when Tyson belts out "Baby, baby, baby oooh."

9. "My Immortal" - Evanescence

Over the years, Tyson has been -- how shall we put this -- dramatic. He has had a tendency to spout off crazy rants and, you know, bite off ears. Few songs have the "dear God, I'm going to die from my own sadness" vibe to them to greater degree than this one. Maybe a duet with tiny little Amy Lee. Talk about a contrast.

8. "Psychosocial" - Slipknot

There's angry and then there's Slipknot. If you don't want to hear Mike Tyson screaming the lyrics below, you are just un-American, man.

I did my time and I want out, so abusive
Fate, it doesn't cut, the soul is not so vibrant
The reckoning, the sickening
Back at you, subversion, pseudo-sacred, pyscho virgin

7. "Evergreen" - Barbra Streisand

In order to come down off the adrenaline high of Slipknot, we recommend the champ covers the gentle touch of Streisand. We'd love to hear him lightly croon "soft as an easy chair."

6. "New York, New York" - Frank Sinatra

Tyson is from Brooklyn and his personality is about the size of the Big Apple. He's probably not as cool as Sinatra, but he's as tough... maybe.
