Your 2011 HPMA Showcase Schedule Is Here
The 2011 Houston Press Music Awards Showcase is a little over a week away, and we are very excited. On November 12, venues across downtown Houston will come to life with the some of the best bands in the city. We have lined up over 50 bands to play over ten stages starting at 2 p.m. the day of the showcase. 
The lineup is pretty astounding, and at the low price of $10 you can see some bands that may very well be too rich, famous, and cool to play something as small as the HPMA showcase within the next few years, including the Tontons, the Niceguys, Something Fierce, and thelastplaceyoulook, who are getting mega notices for their single "Band To Save Me" at 94.5 The Buzz.
You can vote here for your favorite bands at the poll page. Remember you can vote once a day for your loves. Also be sure to buy your tickets now because being prepared is sexy or something, or at least that's what we have been told.
