Marcus Manchild Kills It In Philly On Smoker's Club Tour

Houston rapper Marcus Manchild and his label partners at AMG (Authentik Music Group), George, Chad and Nate, are currently traveling the country as part of the Smoker's Club Tour, headlined by Method Man, Curren$y and Big K.R.I.T. The Smoker's Club tour comes to Warehouse Live November 11, and Marcus agreed to check in with Rocks Off once a week to let us know how it's going.

First off me and George only got their passport but because they flirted with the the lady at the airport counter we almost missed the Canadian dates. Meanwhile, Chad and our driver drove from Houston to Connecticut with all of our AMG merchandise.

It was supposed to take them 20 hours, but since the driver couldn't go more than three hours without getting sleepy the trip took them three days, lol. All of the artists on the tour are laid-back, cool type of people. My type of folks.

Me and Big K.R.I.T. had already done a couple tracks together before the tour, so he was already tha homie. S/O Big K.R.I.T. "S/O" = "shout-out" - Ed.

Honestly, I love this shit. We (me, George, Chad and Nate) are working every night to get out these Preseason 2 CDs and selling our mechandise and just try'na capitalize on every stop on the tour, ya know - AND not to mention I'm KILLIN THIS SHIT!!

My first stop was New Haven, Connecticut. That shit was crazy. I woulda NEVER expected them to be so accepting to my music, but they showed me all kinda love. I went out there with energy and confidence and captured the crowd. Great crowd participation and ended wild had a great time S/O new haven ct

Second stop was Philly at the Trocadero Theatre. The show was amazing. After I got done with the "Look at Me Now" remix, the crowd applauded as if I really earned they attention. So far the tour is going great, I'm having fun - this is my first tour and it's dope.

The next stop is Best Buy Theatre in NYC. By the way, Chad and George are the worst hype men.
