What's The Best Rap Song About A Girlfriend, Wife Or Side Chick?

Generally, the way Rap Round Table works is Rocks Off sends out a question of varying importance each week to rappers for them to discuss. About two years of doing this column has taught us that the best way to get responses is to do it on Twitter.

Rappers are awesome at rapping, but pretty shitty at emailing. We send it to anywhere from 25 to 35 rappers, then collect the responses and group them together here.

This past weekend, though, only seven glorious celestial bodies were kind enough to take the moments required to respond. Word to Kiotti, KAD, Medicine Girl, Kyle Hubbard (who is excellent at emailing), Renzo, D-Risha and Pyrexx.

Kiotti: Easy. Tupac, "Me and My Girlfriend."

Kyle Hubbard: It's a toss-up between Jay-Z's "Song Cry" and Method Man and Mary J. Blige's "You're All I Need." Love songs are so Lilith Fair though.

Renzo: I'm rolling with Devin [the Dude's] "Just Because." I think it shows what love really does to people. Love is murder.

D-Risha: 8 Ball, "My Homeboy's Girlfriend" off the Lost triple-disc album.
