If you ever leave a rock show and your ears are not ringing, then you should have spent your money somewhere else. Tuesday night at Warehouse Live, Papa Roach damn near made Aftermath's ears bleed.

Combining ridiculous volume with brilliant lighting and bone-shattering guitar riffs, the Vacaville, Calif. rockers served up a show that made each horns-waving, headbanging fan in attendance thankful for the temporary hearing loss.

The crowd roared as the stage was prepped with a large banner emblazoned with the familiar Papa Roach logo and bright blue & red LED lights. They also roared as the sound guy checked the bass guitar. And once again as the drummer tuned in the snare drum. Who knew that rock fans were so easily amused?

As the band began the opening bars of "Getting Away With Murder," lead singer Jacoby Shaddix could be seen lurking in the wings in his black muscle shirt and denim vest, ready to pounce to the stage. "Lemme see them hornnnnnnsss!" he yelled at the top of his lungs. And the crowd roared (again).

Aftermath surveyed several fans as to why they liked Papa Roach so much, and many said that after seeing them multiple times, the band never disappoints and delivers one of the best live rock shows around. In between the songs "Burn," "Obsession," "Forever" and "Hollywood Whore" (our favorite), Shaddix encouraged the guys to "put your hands together" and the ladies to "put your titties together."

Damn, being a rock star is so darn cool.
