​Rocks off sat down with guitarist Laura Pleasants of Southern sludge-metal sensations Kylesa to see what we could learn form her metallic excellency in just 30 seconds.

Rocks Off: What is the worst song in the world?

Laura Pleasants: Any Nickelback song. I shouldn't need to explain why.

RO: What is the best lyric in the world?

LP: Hard to say, but I've always loved Pink Floyd's lyrics from "Breathe":

Breathe, breathe in the air
Don't be afraid to care
Leave but don't leave me
Look around and choose your own ground

Long you live and high you fly
And smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry
And all you touch, and all you see
Is all your life will ever be

RO: Someone throws a beer bottle at you onstage. What do you do?

LP: Catch it and throw it back and watch it burst all over them. And laugh.

RO: Without worrying about time, space, or the laws of physics what would be the ultimate gig?

​LP: Playing in an underwater bubble with lots of pretty colors.

RO: Did not see that one coming. What would you buy with a million dollars?

LP: A sweet house on the beach somewhere.

RO: What would you buy with your last dollar?

LP: Water.

RO: That is the most practical answer to that question we've ever gotten. If you could canonize another musician, who would it be and of what would they be the patron saint?

LP: I don't think I would do that.
