More Local Music News Than Final Four Traffic Snarls
The Final Four descends upon Houston this weekend. Oh, if there were only four feeds we had to follow to bring all this lovely Houston music news to everyone. Instead, MCM crawls through more feeds than there are colleges in the NCAA, gathering up every bit we can.

Speaking of the Final Four, the festivities include a series of free outdoor concerts at Discovery Green, including appearances by The Hold Steady, Panic! At the Disco, Kenny Chesney, Los Skarnales - who are onstage now - and Kings of Leon.

Something Fierce reveals their new album, Don't Be So Cruel, at Mango's tonight. Wicked Poseur, The Hangouts, and some carefully curated tunes courtesy of Fat Tony will round out the lineup, and the track "Empty Screens" is posted at Consequence of Sound.
Del Tha Funky Homosapien stops into Fitz tonight, as well.
Born Liars plays Cactus Music at 5 p.m. Saturday.
Machinotaur releases a CD at Mango's Saturday, with heavy hitters Cavernous, Monoceros and Omotai also on the bill.
Scissor Sisters drops by Warehouse Live Monday.
