Flummoxed Radiohead Fans Start Support Group

Next week will see the physical release, both vinyl and compact disc, of Radiohead's new album The King of Limbs. The album was released online a little over a month ago on the band's website to nearly universal acclaim from longtime fanatics and at least a passing reverence from fair-weather fans.

But what about the rest of their fanbase, people who miss the big guitars and alienated pop jangle of their first few albums before 2000's Kid A? What do they do with an album like Limbs, which was seemingly recorded on an iPad in a shadowy castle by Thom Yorke and company?

You can't play air guitar to anything off Limbs, but you can probably do a wicked Jonny Greenwood air synth if you tried.

This video BBC Comedy clip goes undercover to a Radiohead Fan Support Group for people who miss the dynamic lightning strikes of OK Computer and the claustrophobia of The Bends, and even the debut weirdness of Pablo Honey. There was no YouTube-ready video for any of those albums.

But what about us folks who swear by In Rainbows? Where's our support group? As you can see in the video, there are some lines you should never cross.

Thanks to Jason McElweenie for the Facebook tip.
