Rocks Off is still working on the details, but according to massive Twitter reporting by fans at Stubb's off Red River, a camera boom injured about four fans on Saturday night before a set by Orchestral Maneuvers In the Dark.

Updated: According to a Rocks Off follower who was at the venue earlier in the evening, stage crew had been working on repairing the boom rig around the time City and Colour was playing.

Rocks Off began hearing about this incident 30 minutes ago now, but at the time it sounded like it was a disturbance with a photographer in the photo pit for OMD.

According to Austin360, and a Austin-Travis County EMS rep, none of the injuries were life-threatening.

I like the twitter comment from above that "they were wrapped in gauss" -- I guess when they got to the hospital they were then, degaussed! LOL! (computer humor)

The band OMD took the stage and cracked jokes about being too old. Then the crane fell. At first OMD was keeping the crowd calm by joking then as they left the stage they were very professional and actually appeared concerned for the crowd. I enjoyed OMD music before but now after seeing how they acted, I am a fan.

4 people (2 girls, 2 guys) were hit by the camera and were bleeding. 1 guy fainted a few minutes after paramedics arrived. I was 2 feet away from being hit myself. The cameraman who was removed was taking pictures of the injured and was arguing with Stubb's staff. Hope they are all OK.
