Sad news for folks holding tickets to tomorrow night's Linkin Park/The Prodigy gig at Toyota Center. Due to an illness, lead singer Chester Bennington has been sidelined from performing by doctor's orders, making Tuesday at least the band's fourth canceled date on this tour behind last year's A Thousand Suns:

Linkin Park has been forced to cancel their February 15th show in Houston, TX at the Toyota Center. Chester is still under doctor's orders to refrain from performing. The band sincerely regrets this unavoidable cancellation and apologizes to fans for any disappointment caused. Refunds will be available at point of purchase.

No word yet on any rescheduled dates for the Linkin Park show, but Rocks Off will keep you posted. The band recently served as the musical guest on a recent Saturday Night Live episode hosted by returning funnyman Dana Carvey.

@Getdown - my thoughts exactly. The Prodigy has UNSPOKEN seniority over LP (they are living electronic legends, for crying out loud), and a mind-boggling number of folks were going just for Prodigy. I REALLY would rather The Prodigy continue playing the gigs on their own, but eh, contracts. Such a shame that they barely tour the U.S. otherwise...You have no idea how many people were speechless when I told them Keith&co. were supporting LP and not viceversa...

So can The Prodigy just play instead? Thats the only real reason to even go

that is a dumbass comment. LP is the only reason to go.

Have you seen them live before? Blech!

Chester Bennington can't sing to save his life... and it's not like he doesn't have the time or money to learn.

Autotune is just easier.
