Arcade Fire Tickets On Sale Next Friday

​We'll lead off this week's Magnolia City Mixtape with, well, the headline. It's 10 a.m. next Friday (March 4) at livenation.com or by phone at 1-800-745-3000. In other late-breaking concert news, Bob Seger hits Toyota Center April 30. Tickets for that one go on sale next Saturday.

Our soundtrack this week comes from San Antonio's Exponential Records, who have put together a compilation of electronic music from across Texas, including some Houston artists.

Looking at the calendar, there's a big double-doozy at Fitzgerald's tonight. Both The Tontons and listenlisten are headlining shows, so expect it to be quite crowded. But that's hardly all that's happening this weekend.

​Austinites Yellow Fever show up at The Joanna tonight. The $5 show also includes The Mathletes and Hearts of Animals.

Paris Falls plays a free in-store at Cactus Music 1 p.m..

Local wonder and Ninja Tune artist Yppah pops into The Mink tomorrow night, with Together. We Are Instruments, Fiskadoro, and Interference.

Tuesday, Occult Detective Club, Something Fierce, The Busy Kids, and Noguey take over Vinyl Junkie.

Wednesday, Secret Cities shows up at the Mink with Warbler PL and Josiah Gabriel in tow.
