The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo announced the first four entertainers for its 2011 season, scheduled for March 1-20, 2011 in Reliant Stadium: Sugarland (March 3); Selena Gomez (March 6); Zac Brown Band (March 17); and Brad Paisley (March 19)

You were expecting Arcade Fire, perhaps?

Once again, the Rodeo has split its schedule into two separate mini-season ticket packages. Package A includes Sugarland and Paisley; package B includes the other two. Oddly, the upper-level tickets for Package A ($146) are eight dollars cheaper than Package B ($154).

The mini-packages do not include Black Heritage Day (March 4) or Go Tejano Day (March 13). Those days are included in the full season-ticket package starting at $336.

Sugarland, whose fourth album The Incredible Machine debuted at No. 1 on both the Billboard 200 and Hot Country Albums this week, previously played the Rodeo in 2007 and 2008. Grand Prairie native Gomez, star of the Disney Channel's Wizards of Waverly, split the closing Sunday-matinee bill with tween sensation Justin Bieber last year. This will be the Zac Brown Band's RodeoHouston debut; Paisley, meanwhile will make his fourth consecutive appearance and sixth overall.

Full ticket information is available at rodeohouston.com. The complete 2011 entertainer lineup, including for the rodeo's smaller Hideout venue, will be announced in January.
