Top 10 Pop Songs With Children's Choruses

On the way home from ACL this past Sunday night, Craig's Hlist had his Rdio account humming over the speakers playing one of his playlists (phlayhlist?), but not the sad-bastard mix we rocks whenever we are at work alone. It was the life-spanning one we have been making since we got on the music site.

Now don't ask us how, but B.J. Thomas' "Using Things And Loving People" showed up before our New Order section on the list. The Hal David-penned cut comes from Thomas' album You Gave Me Love (When Nobody Gave Me A Prayer), one of his more popular gospel albums. Overall it's pretty sappy going, but buoyed by his mellow foggy voice. It's no Slow Train Coming or Saved by any means.

So we started thinking about all the songs that use children in their choruses. Hell, hip-hoppers went through a period where babies were on most songs. We wonder if they get any sort of credit for the tracks, seeing that they perform some of the hooks. Something to look into.

Some of the best songs have kids singing on them. So let's get all Chris Hansen with it and reel out a few of our favorites. We swear we didn't put that P.O.D. song on there. Online it looked like a Metallica song. Please, we can't go back to jail.
