Not Invited: The city of Atlanta, because it's not a part of the South. Oh, and Lil' Troy. He wasn't invited either.
This Week's Prompt: The track listing for Pimp C's forthcoming album came out last week, as did the first leak ("What Up," feat. Bun B and Drake). So, in honor of his Trillness: What is the best Pimp C verse of all time and why?
Bun B: "Cocaine In The Back Of The Ride" to me. The first words anyone heard from UGK: "Pimp C, bitch! So what the fuck is up?"
Trae: "Swang" or "Get Throwed" remix. I say "Swang." It's a lot with that song, with Pimp and H.A.W.K.
Nique: "Pimp C, PA, trill nigga! Polo, fuck that Hilfiger!" [from "Get Throwed"]
Yung Redd: Me personally, it was the song "Dirty Money" of the UGK album of the same name where Pimp says, "I know God ain't put me out here to be servin' no fiends!" Classic. Texas know what we stodd for then. It was together as one in those days. I'm a fan.
Fat Tony: The best is his verses on "Wood Wheel." They show off his trademark flows/cadence the best, and personality and production.
Fat Pimp: "Choosey lover, never fuck without the rubber. Never in the sheets, like it on top of the covers. Money on the dresser, drive a Kompressor." [from "Get Throwed"]
