Peanuts' Linus Van Pelt Vs. The Police

Every day Rocks Off trolls the tubes of you in search of videos to share. If you have something that you think deserves to be video of the day, send a link to jef_rouner at yahoo dot com.

Who could argue that the cast member of Charles Schultz's beloved Peanuts most likely to grow up and become a legendary avant-garde artist of some sort was Linus Van Pelt? What difference is there really between his spinning of tales about the Great Pumpkin and Lady Gaga cavorting in a bloody fountain of Christ? None. None whatsoever.

So we were extra happy when David Sadof passed along this video of Linus taking on the Police song "Peanuts." This is Rich K's second reworking of Linus footage to Police tracks. Previously, he did one for "Every Little Thing She Does is Magic," which exploded over the Internet.

We're not sure how much further this joke can be taken, but we're enjoying it while we can.
