Little Joe Washington Continues To Improve

Rocks Off was heartened to hear that recovering bluesman Little Joe Washington's health continues to improve following two surgeries for an obstructed bowel in the past month or so.

Washington's friend Reg Burns went to visit him Sunday evening at Quentin Mease Community Hospital (3601 N. MacGregor Way, 713-873-3700), where Washington is rehabbing in Room 448, and sent us this short update:
"Just went and saw him. He's in very good spirits and has been eating quite well. If you visit, his preference is original KFC wings and mashed taters. He's supposed to ramp up his physical rehab starting Monday and hopefully be released on Friday.He sends his thanks to all his well wishers."
