If you missed Norah Jones Wednesday or Miranda Lambert a couple weeks back, don't worry - they'll both be back when the revived Lilith Fair hits the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion August 16.
Also scheduled for Houston are Dixie Chicks Emily Robison and Martie Maguire's new band, Court Yard Hounds, Lilith founder Sarah McLachlan, British neo-soul songbird Corinne Bailey Rae, genre-hopping Norwegians Katzenjammer, and several singer-songwriters from all over the map, musically and geographically: Sia (UK/Australia), Ximena Sarinana (Mexico), Debi Nova (Costa Rica) and Brandi Carlisle (Seattle).
Sarinana, the former telenovela and film star who released the jazz-inflected, critically acclaimed album Mediocre
(above right) in 2008, also plays House of Blues' Bronze Peacock Room May 26.
Opening each Lilith date will be a local artist who wins the talent search sponsored by Ourstage.com
. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 15 at livenation.com
