Trae's MTV2 "Jam Of The Week," Devin the Dude's 4/20 Tips, New Scarface Track List, Lil' Wayne As Prison Guard?, Etc.

Welcome back to Turning the Screw, Rocks Off's weekly rap post. It probably won't rhyme, at least most of the time. E-mail tips to Thanks, homies.

Single of the Week: "Inkredible," Trae feat. Weezy and Ricky Ross

Congrats go out to Trae and the rest of the ABN camp. "Inkredible," the first single off of his Tha Truth LP was picked as MTV2's Jam of the Week. Been a while since a Houston artist was able to say that.

Underground Single of the Week: "Going ATW," ATW

These two are quickly becoming "I'm Going To Listen To Everything These Guys Send Me At Least Once"-level rappers. Solid, solid stuff here.

Wire to Wire

"I ain't Diddy, I ain't Jeezy, I ain't Wayne, so why the fuck did I try to make it rain?" The Fly guys are cool.

Devin got with The Source to provide some helpful, helpful tips for 4/20. By the way, we hit up Devin's listening party for Suite 420 last week. There are no less than three great songs on there. More about it closer to the release date; stay tuned for our article on Devin in this week's print edition.

The tracklisting and cover for Scarface's Dopeman Music hit the Net. The cover is stellar. Regarding the tracklisting, other than the Papa Reu guest spot, we can't say we're too excited about any of the other features. Still, it's Face, surely it will be solid.

Have you taken the time to listen to Big Pokey's Warning Shot? Because you should.

Quietly establishing himself as a go-to for earthy-avant production: Hash Brown. If you're looking for egg, you should check our face. Here's a link to that Kyle Hubbard tape that came out a ways back that we just barely got a chance to upload to our iPod this weekend. Fun stuff.
