Turning The Screw: Chamillionaire, Bun, Trae, Mystikal, Swizz Beats, The Game, Tila Tequila, Maury Povich, Jay Electronica and More

Welcome back to Turning the Screw, Rocks Off's weekly rap post. It probably won't rhyme, at least most of the time. E-mail tips to introducingliston@gmail.com. Thanks, homies.

Single of the Week: "Creepin'," Chamillionaire feat. Ludacris

Wire To Wire

Cham's Major Pain tape is supposed to be released Tuesday. Wonder what he'll force people to do this time before he releases it?

Raheem Devaughn's next LP will have a Bun B feature on it? Of course it will.

Video of Trae, who's been just about everywhere himself lately, being brought out by Lupe at the Sprite Step Off last night. Video of Lupe doing some stuff too. (And stay tuned for a review by yours truly a little later today.)

This might make for the greatest Maury Povich of all time: Tila Tequila hints The Game is her baby's father; Game denies. By the way, has there ever been a white guy better at the "Black Guy Grip-to-Half-Hug" move than Maury? His execution is seamless and completely natural. It's beautiful to watch. He's even better at it than black guys.

So there's this home video of Michael Jackson singing along with R. Kelly's "Ignition," right? (We're going to ignore the irony, but you're free to make your own, "That's, like, an exponential amount of unsubstantiated Indecency With a Child charges right there" joke.) How did Universal Music Group, the company with the copyright to that song, respond? Why, by suing Dead Michael Jackson, of course.

Looks like there'll be a new album soon from 8 Ball & MJG, or, as we prefer to call them, Memphis's Crappy Version of UGK.
