Monday morning, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo announced the remainder of its Reliant Stadium entertainment calendar for this year's rodeo, which begins March 2.
Debuting on Reliant's revolving stage this year are
Jason Aldean (March 6) and Texans the
Eli Young Band (March 19). Returning from last year are
Alan Jackson (March 2),
Darius Rucker (March 9),
Toby Keith (March 12),
Lady Antebellum (March 15) and
Keith Urban (March 16) and, from previous years,
Blake Shelton (March 13) and
Kenny Chesney (March 4).
Pop offerings include
Demi Lovato, who joins the Jonas Brothers March 7, the
Black Eyed Peas (March 18) and Texas-raised Disney Channel alumna
Selena Gomez, who closes out the 2010 rodeo with fellow teen singing sensation
Justin Bieber March 21.
Mary J. Blige gets the nod for Black Heritage Day (March 5) this year, and 2010's Go Tejano Day (March 14) entertainers are both from Mexico,
duranguese group
El Trono de Mexico and Nuevo Leon
nortenos Pesado. Bear in mind these two days are part of the rodeo's full season-ticket packages, but not its two mini-plans.
