With record sales plummeting and disposable income not so disposable anymore, musicians (along with everyone else) are going to greater and greater lengths to stay solvent. Still, drummer Josh Freese - a top L.A. session musician and former Nine Inch Nail, currently a member of Devo, the Vandals and A Perfect Circle - has taken the idea of a musician for hire to a completely different level.

Houston Press sister paper
OC Weekly. "It's going into this realm of performance art and jackassery. I do have that kind of weird, kooky, kitschy part of my personality, and it's just the way I've always been."
