Free Press Houston has added Devin the Dude, whom Rocks Off is currently trying to track down for a prospective new feature (email us, mang!) and Prince Paul to its Summer Fest August 8 and 9 in Eleanor Tinsley Park. See FPH's or Pegstar's Web sites for ticket info (hint: it's $7 per day).

Yesterday, Rolling Stone Online published just about the most badass live photograph of ZZ Top we've ever seen, from the Bearded Ones' June 9 concert in Munich. Unfortunately, we can't publish it here for copyright reasons, but trust us - it's sick.

Enrollment is now open for "Camp Jam Houston," where area children can learn tricks of the rock and roll trade from "legends" such as Survivor's Jim Peterik and .38 Special's Jeff Carlisi (shut up... "Caught Up in You" rules). Classes begin June 29 at St. John's School, 2401 Claremont. See here for more.

British ambient-techno old-timers The Orb have postponed their current tour, including a June 28 stop at Numbers, for the ever-present "personal reasons." No makeup date or refund information has been announced.

Above is local punk trio Something Fierce's brand-new video for "Aliens," co-starring a cannibalistic pig puppet and Rudyard's main man Mike Sims. Enjoy!

Austin troubador Slaid Cleaves, drawing raves for new album Everything You Love Will Be Taken Away, will settle into the uber-intimate Listening Room at NiaMoves in the Heights. Doors at 8:30 p.m.; tickets ($17.50 advance) at www.listeningroomhouston.com

Cactus Music celebrates its first "Vinyl Record Store Day" all day Saturday with exclusive 7-inches (Wilco, Green Day) and early LP releases (Patterson Hood, Al Green). KTRU's Clint Broussard DJs from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m., and Sarah Fox and Joel Guzman (2 p.m.) and the Krayolas (5 p.m.) play free in-stores.
