Westheimer Block Party Seeking Vendors
Yes, Rocks Off knows we're in the middle of the rodeo, and SXSW is next week (shiver), but life does go on, y'all. Besides, once all the SXSW debris is cleared away, it'll be less than a week until Free Press Houston's Westheimer Block Party - which is rapidly metastasizing into one of the Southwest's biggest music festivals in its own right, with well over 100 bands spread over eight stages (free all day) and a SXSW-worthy evening lineup including St. Vincent, Valient Thorr, HEALTH, Daniel Francis Doyle and more. Right now the Block Party is seeking vendors, so if you've got something you think the craziest cross-section of Bayou City scenesters you've ever seen might be interested in buying, it's time for you to speak up; call 866-875-8960 or email vend@onebox.com to sign up. Last October's edition brought out more than 10,000 people, many of them hungry, thirsty, and in dire need of clothing and art, so this is about as captive an audience as you could ever hope for. Plus, Rocks Off will take any opportunity at all to post this badass poster.
