RodeoHouston announced the remainder of its 2009 concert calendar this morning, a lineup that includes several old standbys - although, once again, no George Strait (boo) - and a few first-timers. Making their rodeo debuts this year are Beyonce's little sister Solange (March 6, part of a Black Heritage Day double bill with Gladys Knight), 2008 CMA Best New Artist Lady Antebellum (March 9), Chicago-based durangese Grammy nominees Alacranes Musical (March 15, Go Tejano Day with rodeo returnee Ramon Ayala) and newly minted solo country star Darius Rucker (March 16), also known as the lead singer of Hootie & the Blowfish.

zz_top.jpgReturning are Clay Walker (March 5), Trace Adkins (March 7), Toby Keith (March 10), Clint Black (March 13), Josh Turner (March 14), Keith Urban (March 17), Pat Green (March 19) and, in their 18th straight rodeo appearance - the longest current streak - Brooks & Dunn (March 21). Closing out 2009 is none other than Houston's own ZZ Top (March 22), who also rocked Reliant Stadium in 2002, 2003 and 2007.

The rodeo ticket packages are kind of complicated, so check them out here. - Chris Gray
