Free Nameless Sound Youth Classes Start Today

nameless sound kid.jpgHouston experimental/improvised music nonprofit Nameless Sound begins its spring session of classes for young people this evening. The classes are free of charge and open to area youth from kindergarten through high school, offering instruction in three ensembles:

Nameless Sound Youth Ensemble: Improvised music for adolescents and young adults; all instruments are welcome. Meets Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-8 p.m.

Creative Kids Ensemble: Uses music, singing and storytelling to build coordination, listening skills, creativity and more. Kindergarten through eighth grade; instruments provided. Meets Wednesdays 6-7 p.m.

nameless sound kid 2.jpgClasses for People with Special Needs: Split into "Creative Music for the Basic Skills Community" (Wednesdays, 7-8 p.m.) and "Creative Music for the High Functioning Community" (Wednesdays, 5-6 p.m.). Instruments provided.
