Los Magnificos 2008 bounces into Reliant Center Sunday.

Whip, ride, slab, some bit of street slang Rocks Off won't even hear for another eight months - cars are as essential to hip-hop as crossfaders and lyrics that rhyme. But no city's rappers place their wheels on a higher pedestal than Houston, so it's no surprise that Sunday's Los Magnificos auto show, sponsored by 97.9 the Boxx, features as many local rap luminaries as gleaming Cadillacs hopping all over the place. Get a load of this lineup: AJ, Kiotti & Wine-O, Chingo Bling, South Park Coalition, Gansta Nip, Botany Boys, Rob G, GT and Mista Madd - and that's just the first segment of performances.

Others scheduled to appear Sunday: Lils KeKe, Flip and O; Pokey; ESG; Slim Thug; Mike Jones; Paul Wall; Chamillionaire; Trae; Z-Ro and Scarface. Oh yeah, and Bun B. And a video tribute to Pimp C, Pioneer Award presentation to the Geto Boys and guest appearances by Dallas rhymesayers Quint Black, Fat Pimp, Damm D and more. And don't sleep on the second stage action: Cornbredd, Caddy Kartel, Killatantrum, H-Town Rydaz, Bad Habitz and... er... a male bikini contest. Yeah, baby!

The Texans visit the Cleveland Browns Sunday, by the way - so it'll be nice to see some real winners in Reliant Park. - Chris Gray
