House of Blues just dropped off a veritable shiteload of tickets for tonight's show by Manchester pop-dance duo the Ting Tings. One of the more buzzed-about bands at this year's SXSW, the Ting Tings - Jules de Martino and Katie White - have since become staples on college radio and YouTube with catchy, electro-tinged booty-shakers like "That's Not My Name" and "We Started Nothing," which has been featured in Gossip Girl.

The Ting Tings' debut album We Started Nothing entered the UK charts at No. 1 upon its May release. In America, it seems they've still got some catching on to do, judging by the fat stack of tickets Rocks Off is staring at right now. But hey, according to the never-wrong Wikipedia, "The band's name may be transliterated one way in the Japanese katakana alphabet, to mean a slang word for penis - leading some to believe that has helped their success in that country."
