This Just In: Fitzgerald's, Meridian and Warehouse Live Postponements/Cancellations

Ike ain't even here yet, and he's already playing havok with Houston's live-music calendar. At Fitzgerald's, Friday's Mechanical Boy CD release will go on as scheduled, but Saturday's bill of Spoonfed Tribe, D.R.U.M. and Zwee has been rescheduled for a date TBD, and the bands scheduled to play Sunday's regular Battle of the Bands (whoever they may be) will instead play next Sunday, September 21.
At Meridian, Friday's JMG "Local Rocks" show featuring Necrofaith, Within Chaos, Metavenge and more, has been postponed to Thursday, September 18. All tickets will be honored. Saturday's Sigh show has been cancelled; ticket refunds are available at point of purchase. And Sunday's Eagles of Death Metal show has been postponed, with a pending reschedule date in November.
Finally, at Warehouse Live, Friday's Bob Schneider and Sunday's Graham Colton shows have both been cancelled. The venue's Web site currently has no information on either reschedule dates or refunds. - Chris Gray
