Five Spot: Kanye Arrested? Get. Out!

Get this: A photographer - with a camera (!) - actually had the nerve to try to take some pictures of The Kanye West* as he walked through a Los Angeles airport. (*Yes, Kanye has officially entered the vaunted "The" territory.)
A completely level-headed The Kanye responded by wrestling said photographer's camera away and placing it gently on the floor. Shortly after, somehow, the camera burst into a ton of tiny little pieces. (TMZ, naturally, has video.)
We rate The Kanye's response, which landed him in a pair of not-quite-icy bracelets (of the handcuff variety), as unquestionably brilliant. Because, c'mon, a photographer, taking pictures?! That's just lunacy. What's next? A baby crying? A fish swimming? Not on The Kanye's watch, sir.
The weirdest thing about the whole situation was just how unexpected it was. We never would've thought The Kanye had it in him to just freak out. We mean:
1. There was never this.
2. Or this.
3. And he certainly wasn't off-kilter here.
4. And he was hardly disrespectful to any other artists here.
5. We will admit that he did go off here, though. His was easily one of the top six verses (of any song of any genre) this year. - Shea Serrano
