Black Math Experiment to Go On Hiatus

Categories: This Just In

They came, they saw, they persuaded David Arquette to fly in and catch one of their shows at the Proletariat, but come June 14, the Black Math Experiment will be on indefinite hiatus.
Hasta el jumpo, find out why from co-frontperson Jef With One F, as well as details about their final show…

I asked Jef if there was any one reason driving them towards calling it something like quits. Here’s what he wrote back via email:

“Why we're going on hiatus? A wedding, a new job, a surgery, feelings of failure, another new job, night school, an attempt to find an affordable home big enough for a broken family, an attempt to start a family, anxiety, high gas prices, the difficulty of a band at our level during this unstable time in the music industry, exhaustion, a feeling of having come as far as we can, and one of us thinks God doesn't love them.”

Well alrighty then. You can help solve one last Black Math problem June 14 at the Mink, which is when and where the band will be shooting a DVD. – John Nova Lomax
