Its unfortunate, but I'm afraid she isn't going to be around long enough to make a good follow-up to this year's Back in Black. An amazing album from a very disturbed person.
Here's hoping she's nothing more than some good material from this drug problem and makes a good recovery.

Certainly her management has gained more publicity from her drug use than her recordings, as good as the recent ones may be. As for her dad, he is surely an enabler. Anyway, I am beginning to doubt the extent of the drug problems. For one, everytime she has another episode her publicists are all over it, as opposed to trying to hush it up. The BS regarding her being "unable to perform to her fullest potential" now that her loser husband is in jail to me sounds like tripe. All this makes for a great story for a girl who, up until her last two recrds, was a pure, manufactured teenybopper sensation. Now, as for Britney- I think that's real- you can take the girl out of the trailer but not the trailer out of the girl. Signed, (Airstream resident) David Beebe
