Loaded guns and rap videos don't mix.
The bonus for today's wannabe music stars or video directors is that the equipment is so accessible. Sure, that means there's more flotsam, and you have to look hard for the quality, but it gives kids a chance to experiment. Just leave the guns alone.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting around 2:30 a.m. at a home in east Harris County. Apparently, a few guys were making a rap video, according to reports. A man, who may be around 17 or 18, was injured and taken to a hospital.

We hope the injured guy wasn't hurt too badly and that maybe he chooses more friendly topics to rap about in the future.

The Houston Chronicle reported on what we know so far.

Deputies said investigators were still piecing together what led to the gunfire. However, other media reported three men, believed to be 17 to 18 years old, were filming a rap video in a makeshift studio. One of them grabbed a gun to be used in the filming and didn't know it was loaded. The gun fired, hitting the victim.
