Fantasy Crime League Update: The Ravens Are Running Away With 2014!

Categories: Game Time, Sports

A security officer used a Taser on Buxton, but not on Reid, Crean said. Buxton was also charged with two misdemeanor counts of battery. Reid and Buxton were both released on $2,000 bonds Sunday, according to jail records.

I'm guessing they didn't tase Reid because he would have laughed at the electricity coursing through his veins, grabbed the implement out of the police officer's hand and used it as a toothpick before calmly head butting and tasing all of the officers on the scene.

Reid is heading into his fourth year in the league (assuming that he makes it to 2014), and he played in ten games last year. He was a third-round draft pick in 2011 out of Central Florida, and as mentioned, he is the third Ravens player to be arrested this offseason following running back Ray Rice (simple assault-domestic violence) and wide receiver Deonte Thompson (possession of marijuana).

Clearly, the Ravens, without the distraction of a deep postseason run in 2013, have honed their crime game meticulously. It remains to be seen if the Raiders and Browns can step up. we know it's just a matter of time before they make a run.

2/21/14: Ravens WR Deonte Thompson is arrested for suspicion of possession of marijuana.

2/18/14: Falcons WR Roddy White is arrested for failing to appear in court.

2/14/14: Ravens RB Ray Rice is charged with simple assault.
