Alleged Grandma Killer Returning to Harris County
Drake, according to authorities, stabbed grandma Caroline Stagner, 72, and then set her Highlands home on fire on December 13.
"An autopsy determined Stagner had been stabbed several times in her chest, neck and head. She was dead by the time the fire consumed the house, according to court documents," the Houston Chronicle reported.
The prescription bottles linking Drake to the crime were also picked up near his parents' house,
next door three blocks away from Stagner, authorities say.
Drake reportedly tried to skip town and head north to Gladewater, where he was picked up by cops on January 3.

Stagner was described to sheriff's investigators as a grandma who was stacking her money for Christmas presents, and the money was gone. Reports and court documents say Drake, who was unemployed, paid out over $200 for a friend to drive him to Gladewater.
Drake is headed back to Harris County to answer to the capital murder charges, according to authorities.
