Man Uses Cell Phone in Teller Line at Bank...Also Robs It at Gunpoint
I'm not sure which is more annoying, some jerk not paying attention while waiting in line at the bank or the post office because he's on the phone or the little sign at these places telling customers to stay off the phone while in line. But, I think I may have found the most irritating version of this scenario: talking on the phone while robbing a bank.
It's an important call!
Maybe it's just me, but this guy in the photo appears to be holding a gun in his right hand while cradling a cell phone between his ear and his right shoulder at the same time. Sure, it's an impressive display of multi-tasking but also, um, rude!
The FBI is looking for this discourteous gentleman who alleged robbed a BBVA Compass Bank on Spring Cypress Road in Spring Monday morning around 9:35 a.m. According to a report, the alleged perp armed with a semi-automatic handgun demanded money from a teller and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. No word on if the heist interrupted his clearly important phone conversation.
In a cop drama or show about the NSA, this is when tech nerds would ping cell towers in the area to try and trace the call, which would invariably lead them to a seemingly endless set of clues that miraculously wraps up in under an hour. In the real world, Mr. Chat Hotline will likely be caught with your help.
He is described as a black male in his 20s, about 5 foot 8 inches tall weighing approximately 150 pounds. He was wearing a green and gray plaid shirt, blue jeans and a "black do-rag on his head." That was actually in the FBI release.
