Gabino Silva: Final Defendant Who Barricaded Bar Before Setting It on Fire Gets 15 Years (w/VIDEO)
The video shows two men who'd been kicked out of the crowded eastside bar calmly barricading the doors to the place, trapping the patrons still inside and then setting fire to it. Luckily the arsonists were unaware of one semi-hidden exit door, and everyone managed to escape unharmed.
One of the arsonists, Jaime Mata, pled guilty to arson and is serving a 30-year sentence.
His assistant, Gabino Silva, 24, entered a guilty plea today to felony arson, Houston police say, and received a 15-year sentence.
